第三回

第二天表哥就帶我去大學報到﹐並且去拿資料考進學考。拿完資料後﹐因為他要上班就問我要不要跟他去﹐由于只是留在家所以我就隨他一同到他辦公的地方要不就讓靖華來陪我。但是我多數是陪我表哥一起去上班﹐因為那裡有得免費上網。

一個星期後我表哥帶我去考試﹐去到那裡我心跳得很快﹐很緊張也很擔心。就在這時有位見似華僑的男生走過來問我﹐
“Hi, are you taking MEASAT?”
“Yes I am, you too?”
“ Yeah….by the way I am Raymond and you are?”
“I am Wilhelmina, or you can call me Wil.” “ Freshman?”
“No….I am sophomore”
“Sophomore? How come still taking MEASAT?”
“Though I am sophomore but I am new to this uni, so I have to take it”
“I see, where are you from?”
“Penang, Malaysia.”
“Well I am from Kalimantan, Indonesia.”
“ I see….I think they are queuing up to go in the hall. Let’s go in, chat later.”

我跟Ray 就進了考場﹐大約三個小時候我們就完成了這場考試。正準備離去時﹐聽到後邊有人喊我
“ Wil…Wil….”
我反過去原來是Ray在叫我
“ Yes, Raymond.”
“Going for lunch?” “Ya…”
“ Wanna join me?”
“Erm……ok, where are you taking your lunch?”
“ How about Kansas Union?”
“Sure, why not.”
“Great, I can introduce you to my other friends from Indonesia .”

我們就一路從Snow Hall 走到Kansas Union 去。。。。
“Wil, where do you live?”
“I am staying with my cousin right now in Stouffer Place, you?”
“I live in Indonesia village” “ har…what Indonesia village?? Where is it?”
“ In Nasmith Road, a lot of Indonesians live there, so we call there as Indonesia Village.”
不久就到了Kansas Union, 他就向我介紹了他的幾個朋友。
“ Wil, this is Jennifer, Ruth, Sean, Isendra, and Husaine.”
“And pals, this is my new friend from Malaysia Wilhelmin.”
“Hi…”
“Hi..”
我們就在Kansas Union 的cafeteria 用膳﹐一邊吃一邊聽他們講關於自己的事。
